On a TV show, they showed that Greg Ingles played footy in NSW until he was 17. He played for Hunter Sports High and also Westfield Sports High, not to mention footy on the weekends in NSW! So how does he get a start in a Queensland Jersey!?How is Greg Ingles playing for Queensland!!!!!?

It goes off senior games so if he played for Qld first, than he is a Queenie. If players choose to go play for Qld to improve their chances of selection, so be it... It shows they have no loyalty to NSW and they should play reserve grade (opps i mean for Qld.)

if you check the wording on the rule it states first senior game ie under 18 s which in inglis case was in qld he also played for qld under 18s he has a passion for qld anyway blues have 75% of nrl players to choose from who u gonna drop gasnier or cooper who both outplayed him in game 1 to this day you blues still dont get it origin was created to STOP nsw playing qlds best against qld it is also worth noting a lot of fringe origin players believe qld has a much more open policy in rewarding indigenous players with selectionHow is Greg Ingles playing for Queensland!!!!!?

His choice, dont be jealous now... Inglis wanted to be a Queenslander and like above answers, he went to QLD to play with Storm's feeder club at the time...
