Does ingles gas station put water in there gasoline?

never heard of water and gas mixing. usually your car would die instantly if it was trying to burn water. Looks like your not getting MPG that you want. Look at the ethanol percentage around town to get the best MPG. If I remember correctly, Less % is better and More % = burns faster. Also depends on how you maintain your car. But yeah, never heard of water and fuel mixing purposely.Does ingles gas station put water in there gasoline?
It's actually illegal for a station to put anything else in there gas intentionally. If they sell you a gallon of gas but it's really 9/10 gas and 1/10 water, they just committed fraud. Check the tag on the pump for the state agency that certifies the pumps, they will have all the info you need. However, water does sometimes get in there by accident, and if you can prove that particular stations' gas damaged your car, they are supposed to pay the repairs. After all, if you got watery gas, so did other people, more will complain than you.
Gas and water do not mix unless there is an emulsifier . They would have to add it in at the pump head for it to be suspended in the gas while you where pumping it ( have you ever had to shake salad dressing or medicine ) and then it would settle out into the bottom of your tank . They wouldn't sell much gas if they did .Does ingles gas station put water in there gasoline?
