How did they offer you the job? You should call them to be sure. Torreon is not a bad city, and the people is friendly.

Be sure that the offer is not a scam, go an check it first. Take a trip there with a friend and see if you like it.

i used to live in torreon and i actually lived close to el colegio ingles and it was famous for its american teachers.. it is a bilingual school so they want their students to speak english with a natural accent and pronunciation.

i remember seeing teachers walking to school with their coffes in my way to my school. so i guess it is a serious job and if u mean safe like a safe city i think it is a very safe city i miss it :(

Torre贸n is a good city. But you must be careful always and everywhere (not only there).
