How much tobacco can be brough back from Gran Canaria (plya de ingles) ?

I'm not sure where Gran Canaria is, but I'm assuming it's overseas to wherever you live, each country has its own restrictions on how much can be imported. It's all about YOUR country, for example the limit for australia is 200 or 250 (can't remember) cigarettes, any excess will be confiscated. You will most likely not be checked while leaving Gran Canaria, but when going through customs at your country of origin, you may be checked. It is important to declare that you are in excess of the limit if you are, otherwise heavy fines and/or jail time may apply. If you're lucky enough to live in a country with no maximums (I don't know of any) then bring in as much as you like =)
